The best part of this program was that we did not just learn English, but we learned with English. By spending a lot of time with German students instead of only interacting with Japanese students, I was able to not only develop my English skills but also learn about their ideas. I also became more interested in the transportation issues and urban development that Japan has. This was an idea that I was able to gain only by going to Germany and making comparisons.
